During my recent business trip to Cairns, I had the opportunity to stay at Cairns Motor Inn, a location conveniently situated around a 19-minute walk from notable attractions like the Cairns Regional Gallery. The outdoor pool offered a refreshing escape after a long day, and I appreciated the comfortable beds and air conditioning that provided a much-needed respite from the tropical heat. My stay was marred by some unfortunate issues, including a dirty bathroom and a rather unsettling incident where the new manager attempted to enter my room while I was asleep. As a solo traveler, this left me feeling quite uncomfortable. While I recognize that cleanliness and communication are paramount in hospitality, I hope that with time, the management can address these concerns to enhance the experience. Cairns Motor Inn has potential, especially with its central location and amenities, but I believe that some attention to detail, particularly regarding guest privacy and cleanliness, would greatly improve its appeal.
